Vortex, Rhino, or Line-X...

Which one? The dealer can do Vortex for basically free (since I am good buddies with the owner... Or should I opt for line-x or rhino? Thanks

Hey man, as much as I love my Line-X, if you can get a Vortex for (basically) free, you'll owe your buddy a fishin' trip or two, go for it!!

I love my Line-X too, but free versus $450+ sounds like a prettty easy choice to me.

x4, after all it's only a bedliner!! Then take the $450 you saved and use it for another mod like exhaust or tunes, etc!

Line Ex is the way to go, unless something else is free. I have the Rhino liner in my 01 supercrew and it has faded really bad. My brother has had his linex in his truck for 2 years longer than mine and his still looks new. He also hauls more than I do??? All I haul is my quad. He hauls bricks, sand, blocks!! Neither one of us has a cover for the bed. I know one thing, I am getting line ex for my next truck whatever the cost!!!

Ok, that's pretty nasty lookin'!.. LOL.. don't even know that I'd take it for free.. geez.. might be better to ask for one of the discarded drop-ins, like you've got in the back of the shop Truck..

I've had my Line-X in for 2 years now and it still looks great! Absolutely no problems.

I wouldn't think twice about paying $450 to have Line-X as opposed to that nasty looking free crap, but then again I'm just a guy who likes my truck to look good!

it just hit me this morning while I was making breakfast.. that white Vortex looks like the cream gravy I made for the biscuits, bubbles and all.. and I think I even see some pepper in there.. LOL..

And why does that black sample make me think of a torched Kuwaiti oil-field?

TruckGasm, is that what a low-pressure (too low) application can do, as far as the bubbles? It's like a bad pancake batter!

These are two different samples from two different dealers. So, I'd say the looks are due to the product, not the talent of the dealer.

I've never applied a low pressure bedliner product, but I'd guess that it's difficult to get to not look like it was gouped on.

vortex sample

Truck Gasm, you aren't possibly a Line-X Dealer trying to make other dealers look bad are you?
We offer the Vortex products and have never recieved any complaints about our product, nor have we ever sprayed anything that looks like the sample pictures you have provided.
My suggestion would be to get a sample from each dealer in your local area before you make any decision.
