Are you talking about the tie downs ? They sit in recesses molded into bed sides at top ..... there was once a kit of filler plates offered that were polished SS and either plain or with FORD script, and I've seen a picture here someplace of one with filled in recesses ..... but I like the tie downs, they add something and are useful.

I did not like the water running out of them down the bedside after a wash and after I dried it, so I posted a thread where I removed each and filled the cavity with silicone sealant and reinstalled them, I used tape to mask the edges and make cleanup of excess easier. 1 tube in a calk gun did all 6, and now I never have a line of dribble running from the tie downs ....

If you mean the 6.5 foot long bed side caps ..... I don't know what else to call them?

Pics?

Check out the pic in my signature, I made these before Steeda started making their kit.

Haha its all good man since this thread, money has been kind of tight so the chance of owning an 05 and up are slim to none, so im going to try and get me a 99+ f150 single cab short bed
