Line-X Dealers in RI, MA, or CT

Hello,
Does anyone have any expirences with installers in this area? I'm in RI and keep getting conflicting reports about the only (?) dealer in RI. He is not listed on the Line-X website and there customer service said he was out of business, but a buddy of mine got one installed there last week. Anyone have any expirence with him or a dealer in CT or MA? What's the going rate for a 6' bed?
Thanks
Jim

Line-X

Jim,

Apparently the Johnston guy went out of business.... Apparently lost the franchise. I searched the same thing (I'm in Jamestown) and had settled on the guy in Salem, MA. Couple of guys on here had him do the work and I spoke to him. Lots of experience with a couple of corporate accounts. I'd be going there this week had I not opted for a Bedrug at the last minute.

You can pull his info from the Line-X site....

Good luck!

I know you guys are talking LINEX.....
For what it's worth...
My brother had the back of a bucket truck done with Linex, I had the bed of my 04 done with a Rhino Liner.
We compared the two, and there's hardly any difference at all.
The Rhino feels slightly softer...a little more rubbery. I like it-stuff doesn't slide around at all. My bro liked it better than what he got...

In case you're wondering, I had it done at
South Shore Rhino Lining in Quincy Ma. (part of Quirk Motors)
It was $500 not going over the rails.
I opted for an extra $25 for them to remove the tailgate and spray the rear of the bed (above the bumper).
They did a nice job.
The guy running the place said that when gas shot up to $4+ a gallon, it squashed the sales of trucks and alot of bed sprayers had to close.
Isn't there a Linex Dealer in Dedham Ma.? That's where my bro had his done.
My .02

There's sort of a trade off between hardness and tear strength. The softer, the lower the tear strength (due to less polyurea).

Rhino has several products:
Tuff Stuff - LINE-X has more than double the tear strength, but is much harder.
Tuff Grip - LINE-X has a 31% higher tear strength and is slightly harder.
Hardline - Same as above.

Get whatever suits your needs.

I had the same luck trying to find one here near Mystic, CT. The only Line-X Dealer who would answer the phone was in Waterbury, CT. Did a great job ('09 SCREW, 5.5 ft bed) in around 2 hours and I paid $450.00 tax incl. to stay under the rails. Good luck.

I had mine done in West Hartford about 3 years ago, and the guy did an awesome job. I think I paid 385 for under the rail. I am not sure if he is still in business though
