I don't but I actually am looking for a new tonneau cover as well as a black tool box. Where did you get yours if you don't mind me asking? Does it hold up well? Any information would be great.

Thanks.

What do you want to know about them? I have sold many of them they are the same as the standard cover just cut down to fit behind a toolbox and come with an extra rail piece to go next to the toolbox for front support. The toolbox doesn't come with the cover and isn't built into it in any way, you use whatever toolbox you want/have.

i have the tool box, i was just more so curious how well they seal / hold up over time compared to full tonneaus

i got mine and pepboys, it holds up just fine but was definitely on the cheaper side.... it feels very flimsy. i would prolly spend the extra money next time, but it was only $150

They are the exact same covers material, rails, snaps, etc. They seal to the toolbox with a bulbseal that is attached to the aluminum crossrail that you lay on the bedrails to create a new header rail for the front of the cover to rest on. The cover seals fine the problem will come from around the toolbox especially in the front where the box doesn't seal to the front of the bed. A toolbox is supposed to be installed about 1/4" in front of the front header panel and not on or over it. This is to account for bedflex and twist that if the box is setting tight to the front and secured on the siderails it will put undo stress on the box.

I don't know about the Extang Tool box Cover, but I have had the Extang Full Tilt and now have the Extang Trifecta and I do have to say that company is A CLASS ACT. Their Tonno's come with a 10 Tarp warranty and a lifetime frame warranty (you need to register your top when you buy it though) after I had my Trifecta for about 9 months when I started to notice a separation in the corner. I called Extang Customer Service and got right though and didn't have to sit on hold for hours. Explained my problem and the Customer Svc Rep told me to take a picture of the issue and of the Serial # stamped on the bottom of the canvas and email it to him. Within an hour of emailing it, I got a return email telling me to cut the serial number out of the canvas top and mail it to them. So I cut it out which left a 1in x 3in hole in my cover. (That I put some black duct tape on and didnt even notice) Exactly 1 week from when I mailed them the swatch I had a brand new cover on my doorstep. I have dealt with warranty's on other products and usually you have to jump through hoops because like Tommy boy says " All they sold you was a guarunteed piece of ****" I always liked Extang Products and after this experiance I am now a customer for life.

I know this thread is a little old, but if you are still interested, here are my 2 cents.

I suggest getting a cover without the snaps, I had them on my old truck and after a couple years in the elements, the snaps eventually broke off... You may want to see if you can find one without the snaps.

Hope this helps,

-Martin

Extang offers the ToolBox Tonneau either way and even if you go with the snaps it has a 10 year warranty and if anything like that happens they will send you a new tarp no problem.
