2008 vs 2009 box measurement
Has anyone here compared the 2008 6 1/2 ft box to the outside lip of the tailgate to the 2009 6 1/2 outside lip? I am curious to see how much the new little ducktail adds, it looks pretty cool but it would be nice to be able to pick up a 04 - 08 cap.

with the curved lip on the back its too long, i tried the cap off my 06 and it was tight at the back corners but there was about 1.5 inch gap up front. Looked alrite and could have patched something in there to fill the gap in but also the back window woulndt close to easy since the tailgate on the 09s is curved out more, so i just sold it and bought the newer one which fits perfectly.
