Took my cap off

Took my cap off today and started rigging up a pulley system in the garage for it. Here are the starting pics:

I'm going to attach two pieces of wood going across and going to use rope on the pulleys to raise and lower the cap. Once raised the chains will get put on the hooks for more permanent storage.

It doesn't look like you have a very high ceiling. Is there going to be enough clearance?

Well my truck already doesn't fit in the garage but the two vehicles that will go in are a camry and a altima coupe. The clearance with the cap all the way up is about 6' so there will be plenty of room for the two cars.
