97-03 F150 Lo-Rider Box Cover

Just bought one for 200bux plus fuel and the only thing it doesn't have is the inner frame that clamps to the box of the truck. I am trying to find out the lower mounting distance for the strut/shock(s) to mount the ball(s) to the box rails. A measurement from either the front of the box or the rear would work. just to simplify the final install for us. Local shops have no useful advice so I turn to the guys who are in the know and have them on their own.

It's on a 1997 F150 6.5 Fleet side, so really any 97-03 will work with the exception to the Screws and steps. Thanks
