My worries with Drop-In's (and this is more of what I'm asking, seeing as I've had no experience with them), Is that the plastic rubs against the metal and causes the paint to wear away and rust will start.

One thought that I had to prevent this, is to take some rubber strips and put them in the lower parts of the bed:

Horrible edit, I know but hopefully you'll get the idea.

Thoughts?
Opinions?

Good idea/waste of time?

Thanks!
curious... what'd you pick up this liner for? i'm seriously thinking of pulling mine out and selling it.

id say if ur worried about the scratches n ish id just put some caulking down or something. its cheap n u only need a lil. but as far as looks n userability go, this is the bottom of the food chain. might i suggest gettin a spray on bedliner from Xtreeme bedliner on ebay. i bought a kit from them for 150 with enough materials to do 2 full beds and its bulletproof stuff that looks good.
