I have been working on my bed cover, I got the flip up foose emblem on it, the manufacture emblem peeled off, and the electric release I finished tonight. I will be getting the wood for the liner this week and hopefully have it started by the weekend. I will also check for the pictures of the 1st one I did and post it for you tomorrow. I will also be taking a few snap shots of the build and post them when it is all done.

I had a bed liner in my 2005 silverado, before my current f-150. PUt a rubber bed mat into it to keep the cargo slippage down. ONe of those ones you can pick up for $80 at pep boys with the knobby things on the bottom.

The pads are a good idea especially if you dont use your bed for loose cargo(rocks mulch), and if you want a spray on you can always take out the mat

Are you talking about something like this?

http://www.tonnocover.com/Bed_Mats/D...s_T451701.html

Does anyone have one of these laid over their Ford bed liner? There are somethings I don't mind sliding around, but others I'd like to throw something anti-skid down to keep the items from moving around. Do you think that the underside would have enough bite to stay in place if placed over a traditional bed liner?

Bedrugs are designed to be used with or without a cover. Many members have bedrugs without tonneau covers.

liner

I just picked up a 'Ford' bedliner today from the salvage yard. It was from a working truck so it's got some marks and wear on it but for what I paid I think I did ok. Having one on my other truck, it's nice to have the same thing in my new one (actually new to me).

If you only plan on having the plastic bedliner in for a yr or so it really shouldn't do any harm. Being a New Englander, the trucks that get the beds rotted out are usually the ones that are in heavy salt and the owners don't lift that liner once in awhile to clean out underneath it.

Herculiner the bed itself, not that cover crap....mine picks up alot of junk under it and thats why I will be removing it and applying the rugged looking surface to the bed itself so it won't rust and at the same time the bed cam breathe and not get corroded.

I would get out all the old roll on liner and have line-x spray one in.

I have finished the liner in my truck. I took longer than expected due to other projects comming up. Here are a few pictures to enjoy and yes I did paint the staples black but didn't get pictures since the painting was done.

Since the truck bed is not pristine do to the do it yourself roll on bed liner, why don't you just drop in a rubber bed mat and put the bed liner on top...

Hey y'all,

I'm new to the forum, and new to owning a truck. I have a 2004 F150 crew with a drop-in bedliner, but was thinking about switching to a spray-on. Has anyone else had experience with the spray-ins (other than previous posts)?

Thanks
