New bed for my truck!!!

I have a 98 f150 that has a large dent in the side of the bed. I've been told that I need a whole new bed because it would be cheaper than the body work. I found a bed that is a perfect match but is white not black. It is only $300 which I think is a good deal, am I right and how much will it cost to get it painted, roughly? need answers kinda quick

It'd cost probably $500 to repaint the bed, assuming there was no damage. Cheaper than putting on a new bedside and then re-painting.

If you go to local bodyshops by you and ask youll get a much more accurate answer than asking online from people hundreds of miles away from you....
