I bought a used 06 f150 with an 8' box that came with a Raider Lorider already installed. I'd like to remove it for the summer so I can use the truck to pick up materials, etc. and possibly LineX the box.
I asked a local Raider dealer how to remove the tonneau and he said to simply disconnect the lift arms (done - easy) and then lift the tonneau out of the bracket at the hinge end. That didn't happen.
Does anyone know how to best disconnect the lid from the hinges easily or does the whole frame have to come off the box by removing the clamps?
