New Cargo Utility Box (C.U.B.)

I just installed this box today in the bed. It was pretty easy, It took about an hour because my drill ran out of go go juice and I had to peel the bedrug back and then cut two slits in it for the latch and lock. I like it since I had my hand tools in the door pockets and they rattled. Here is a pic, I will put more on later when I can downsize them.

I like that storage box. I was checking those out on the undercover tonneau website. They make the same box for both sides.

Just like a jeep door, you can take it off also (reason for padlock). I saw they have the pass side but none on Ebay at the time.

Would a 4 way lug wrench fit in that box? I usually carry that and a bottle jack, some straps and cords back there. Right now they just roll around cause they falll out of the box i have them in. Also how much and do they make it for the passenger side? I like the idea cause its not a big tote box back there..

I carry my craftsman 1/2in torque ratchet in there with some sockets amongst other things. The website is http://www.cargoutilitybox.com/ . I got mine on Ebay for $125 with the 10% off coupon. I haven't seen the pass side yet but I do want another.

CUB Dimensions

I saw this little goody on the Costco website. What are the dimensions of the box? I just traded my 1998 F-150 with a toolbox for a 2009 F-150. Not sure I want to go the toolbox route but I've got all this "stuff" that needs to go somewhere.
Thanks.

Undercover's Swingcase is model specific. I think you can go to Undercover's site and check the appropriate application. We've sold a few of them and so far, people really like them although they are rather pricey. Also, you can install one on either side or both sides of the truck.

This box is made by undercover. It also is not model specific. It can go on - F150/F250/F350 1980-1996 (1997 F350) and F150 1997-2008, ranger 1982-current, superduty 1999-current plus chevy, dodge, mitsubishi raider, tundra, titan and frontier. As for the dims, I will go out when it's done raining and get a rough measurement.

Thanks for all the feedback (especially on the DeeZee price)! I got the following from the manufacturer. Did not say it was model specific but if it is then these dimensions are for a 2009 F-150 Supercrew.

DIMENSIONS

Length a the top 28”, depth at back 15”, length at the bottom 15”, depth over the wheel well is 5” sloping downward for 13” to a 15” depth. Overall width is 8”.

These are Outside Dimensions. Subtract 1” for the Inside Dimensions.

Capacity: 1.5 cubic feet.

Saw these boxes today at Rural King didn't see a price, nor did I see the mirror box for the passenger side. Looked through the installation on an F-150 and saw it only went up to '08. Does anyone know if they will go on an '09 and if the steps are still the same?
