Tailgate noise

Anyone know any type of lube i could use between the plastic piece thats inside the passenger side tailgate where you remove it from, and the fixed metal mount thats bolted to the bed itself? I dont know why, but its making a squealing noise when i open and close the gate. I tried some 3 in 1 oil but that didnt help.......

White Li grease will work for most any application where you want grease that will stay in place and not be affected by temperature. Another option is to use silicon grease.
