Lazer Lite Tonneau

Hey all, new member here.

I'm thinking about purchasing a Lazer Lite aluminum tonneau cover (http://www.lazerlitecovers.com/index.html) in conjunction with a BedRug liner. Anyone have any experience with or opinions about the tonneau cover? (I'm already sold on the BedRug)

Thanks!

No experience but people that I've run into that have one, like them very much. Can't get much more low profile than this cover! It looks OK to me except the lock looks a little wimpy. They should make it more macho looking.

Nice pics, better than most on the website. I agree about the lock looking kinda wimpy, if I do go with one they have a version that locks from underneath. Same mechanism, but I'd feel a bit better about trusting my tailgate lock, and no key hole to mess up the clean look! Thanks for the reply.

I'm not aware of any dealers around here so I may order it through Ontario Kap sales where I'm getting the BedRug and have them both installed at the same time if they are reasonable about price. Otherwise I'll order it direct from the company and install myself. The istallation instructions on the website seem very simple.

Considering some fiberglass tonneaus run upwards of $1500 I thought $895 (catalogue price for my truck) wasn't too bad...

Man, that is one badass outfit. A little busy on the eyes but A+ for creativity with the rack config on the tonneau. I won't be doing anything like that though, the primary reason I like the LazerLite is it's light weight and easy removal. I work in the film industry and not only need to cary a fair bit of kit but often use my truck as a poor man's camera car so I need to strap the camera in and 4 maybe 5 people ride back there so I need to be able to clear it out in a moments notice. Undercover would be my second choice, it's even lighter, but I like the aesthetics of the LazerLite so much more. Now all I need is some more work to flow so I can afford the damn thing!

Thanks for the link! XD
