I went today to find out how much it would be to put one of these liners in my bed and the guy said it would be $380. Now I was thinking it would be between 200 and 300, is this price about right? Also the guy said they would be switching to a new application method in a couple weeks and if I offered my truck to be one of the first ones done I could save a few bucks. Do you know what method he means, I'm thinking the high pressure application that you guys were talking about in another thread but I'm not sure. He said this new method has a completely different look. Thanks guys for the help.
That's a good price but I'd wait and get the new application done. Just make sure to get any warranty in writing and a price up front. BTW my Line-X came in at $429 just last week. I've heard Rhino is usually $50 or so less so that price makes sense. GL and post pics!

One more thing, there are a couple dents on the wheel well they're not that bad but can they feel them in when the liner is applied?
I'm sure they can either spray it thicker or you could pay to have them pounded/pulled out. Depending on how bad they are I'm sure for an extra $10 they'd spray it thicker there. Maybe call them and ask (?).

I don't think they can really fill in dents much larger than say the size of a quarter or so.. Best bet would be to see if they can pull 'em out, or even bondo the things before you get sprayed..
Depends on what you get. Tuff Grip, which is just their old Tuff Stuff reworked for high pressure, is still their main product. It's still 100% polyurethane/2:1 ratio. Even though it's high pressure, it still does not look as nice as LINE-X. Or, you can go with Hardline, which is their cheap stuff bedliner and sells for less than Tuff Grip. Hardline is like the paper thin stuff you see in Nissan Titans.
Tuff Grip is Rhino's second attempt to try to make their product look like LINE-X. There first attempt was a change in the spray wand they used to use. That did not work well enough. Keep trying Rhino!

The thing is I don't haul big heavy abusive loads all the time and all I want is something to protect my be without hurting it like some drop ins do. I haven't really heard anything bad about rhino and plus they do have a lifetime warranty and they are closer to where I live. All in all its my best choice and I feel comfortable with it.
I'm gonna go back this week to ask about the dents and schedual it in for the discount. I'll let ya know how it turns out.

If you did use your truck like that the Line-X wouldn't do a much better job than the Rhino, they both have almost no dent protection. For what your doing go with the DualLiner for even less, I can sell you one for $315 and have it drop-shipped direct from the manufacturer shipping is $70.
Never seen a good dent cover up with a spray liner. And be careful with being the guinea pig... one of the first means you get to be the practice field.
Look at it this way - say you spent $30K (or more) on a truck. Is protecting it worth spending the right money for proper protection? If yes, get a DualLiner and the dents are completely gone and your truck gets the best protection available. If no, don't waste your money at all.
The_Beast, that sounds like a good deal and you may have just changed my mind on the spray in. I read the site and it seems like a great product and exactly what I want. I know it says that it will not scratch the bed which is great but the bed is already scratched from the previous owner anyway so that doesn't matter.
Also, are the sides plastic or are they the same rubber that the bottom mat is? On the site it doesn't show that there is one for my year truck, its a 99' F150.
Is there anywhere I can go to buy them so I don't have to pay the shipping cost or is that the only way.

I'll cover Beast on this... damn, should have looked at what your truck was first. We cover the F150 starting with the 04 body style.
While it won't matter for you, someone else might have the same question about materials - the sidewalls are polyethylene, a type of plastic. Rubber isn't the right product for the job... anything that linds on the side needs to get to the bottom. On the floor, the rubber stops cargo from moving.
There are many local places to get it, again, doesn't help you. Beast's pricing about the same as everyone's and he is one of us (F150online guy).
By the way, I'm the General Manager of DualLiner, that's why I know all the details!
