Stopped By A Ford Dealership Yesterday

I saw a couple of interesting things.

I've never seen a factory Ford truck with this option. Looks like sort of a factory storage area.

Some Rhino pics. These liners are in NEW, yet to be sold trucks!

that Rhino lining looks really sloppy

I've seen the box behind the truck thing before. I can't find the site where I saw the article... but it supposedly started as an aftermarket mod for lawn companies. Something about a law where they had to keep some of their chemicals locked up. So an aftermarket company would buy the trucks designed for an 8' bed and put that box with the doors in front of a 5.5' bed.

aha... I found the site where I saw it...

Its an interesting idea, not sure that I would want one personally. But it would be a good option instead of putting a toolbox in.

That's a dealer installed option (Bedliner).. Looks like crap compared to Rhino's competition.

And whom might that be, TruckGasm?

Pretty sorry installation isn't it?

That storage box was shown on the early shots of changes on the new models awhile back.

That storage box is Ford finding a way to put even more doors on a regular cab!

That Rino lining looks pretty bad, probably just that dealer trying to make those work trucks more appealing to those looking for one.

Yep pretty poor job on the Rhino liner.

As for the truck, very weird looking. We got one in a couple months ago, it is called a MID box. would be handy, but haven't sold off our lot yet!!! LOL
