I just got mine yesterday. I paid $370 plus tax. I have a screw with 6.5' bed. It looks great.

Wow, that is a good price. My local Line-x dealer (Dayton,Oh) wants $479 for my 06 Screw w/ a 5.5 ft bed. I really wanted Line-x but I can get a Rhino liner for $369. "
I asked the Line-X guy if he ever ran specials or anything sice Rhino is currently running $100 off and he basically said NOPE.

I just don't know if Line-X is worth $110 more than Rhino???

You will find that LINE-X is the more expensive bedliner and LINE-X applies more product than any other bedliner company in the world.

Rhino and LINE-X are not the same. You should buy whatever suites your needs and budget.

Truckgasm,

I fully believe that Line-X is a more durable product. I'm just in the position where the bed of my truck is really nothing more that a trunk. I don't really use it for anything other than hauling kids bikes, a brush pile every now and then, and other "light weight" things.

I'm just trying to decide if I "need" to spend the extra money...although, I should just do it and be done with it!

Durability is a factor, but also you should consider looks and warranty.

Rhino dealers offer a lifetime warranty, but the warranty is only with the dealer that sprays the bedliner. So, if you move or the dealer goes out of business, you have no warranty. LINE-X's written lifetime warranty is valid nationwide.

Rhino uses a cold/low pressure application system. Also, their product gels in 30 to 45 seconds and dries in about 45 minutes. LINE-X uses a heat/high pressure application system and dries in 4 seconds. Since it dries so fast, it tends to conform to the bed a little nicer.

But, again, get whatever you're going to be happy with.

Here's some pics:

Rhino

In northern CO., I was quoted $415 for my F-150. September promo for $40 off the normal price of $455. For color, add $250 -- the shop uses a local body shop to color match to your truck. I was all set to pull the trigger, but then I remembered that I needed to register my truck ... to the tune of $470. There goes my liner.

I just don't understand why CO needs so much revenue. Very high sales tax (7%), pretty high state income tax, and an enormous excise tax on vehicles. I've lived in WA (no income tax, killed the excise tax a few years ago), OR (no sales tax, no excise tax), VA (4% sales tax [2% on cars], low income tax, no excise tax), and TN (no income tax). I swear that CO has to be second only to CA in taxation!

Here's a great example of how the state literally takes money out of a local business' pocket and into their own by virtue of an ungodly excise tax.

LineX here in Tampa wants about $460 for a 5.5 foot bed.

I saw LineX and Rhino side by side and I just liked the looks of the LineX better. Overall the look was better and it seemed like it was more sturdy and might last longer. On the other hand, the Rhino seemed to have a softer, less slippery feel to me. Guess it depends.

Im going with the LineX

Now, who wants to buy an OEM Ford bedliner? LOL...

Sorry I missed this.

The bedliner is in the truck, so yeah I have the screws. I assume when I get the LineX sprayed in that they'll take off the screws and return them to me.

You want this thing?

Yeah, if you're just going to get rid of them. I have a friend that could use them.
