2000 f150 sb cover

Moring from western Oklahoma,

Hi gang, im new to the site and looking for opions please, i just purchased a 2000 F150 ext cab short bed, lariat eddie baurer package, with 70k miles on it, one of the things i would like to do appearance wise is add a bed cover, not shure if i want to go soft top or hard cover, both have thier advantages & disatvanteges. but i do want to keep the bed caps and bed rails, does anyone have a this setup ?? i have seen a lot of nice pics on the site but it seems that everyone with a bed cover doesnt have the the rails, is this due to preferance or does no one make a bed cover that you can keep the bed caps and rails ?? Truck is white base with harvest gold on the bottom, the rails i have ordered are the harvest gold monchrome ones, im thinking of having a local body shop repaint the factory black bed caps to match the white, anyt suggestion would be appreciated, shoot me a eamil or reply here and thanks

Troy

Thumbs up

Take a look at the Access LightRider soft cover. It does not go over your rails or caps, it sits nice and flat not bowed up, and is a cinch to roll up, it has velcro on the sides it is really sharp, and cheap. I found it for about 298.00 on 4wheel online. I think you'll like it. Don't paint anything keep it like it is. Let me know. 02 f-150 screw 4.6l K&N FIPK.

thanks man, ill take a look at that one, as far as painting talked with my body guy and he said they have never gotten paint to stick well or look good on the bedcaps so ill leave them alone and put the new rails on and take a look, if its to bad i could repaint the rails to black to match
