Line-x vs Rhino

I've seen a few discussions about Line-x and Rhino linings. I have had both. Both performed well resisting abrassions and cuts...but still, if you throw a 20lb boulder or drag something sharp across both of them, it will leave a mark...they are not titanium.

My Rhino lining was black and did fade quickly. But if you spend 10 minutes dressing it with something...looks brand new. Have to treat it just like your tires.

The Line-x was great because they offer color matching. I had mine matched to my 2001 F-150 King Ranch (Wedgewood Blue) and it looked awesome. I'm looking at getting the 05' King Ranch in the Deep Copper, wonder if they could match that.

Plastic liners are good as long as they perfectly matche your bed....I had one buckle under the heat. Plus, dirt and water gets trapped underneath them....every now and again, its a good idea to pull them out and clean your bed....if you care about those kind of things and want to keep your truck in the best condition for its lifetime.

I looked into both when I bought my '04 XLT. The deciding factor for me was the Line-X sets up harder then Rino, and is ready to use almost immediatly. Plus the warranty for Line-X is valid anywhere. Rino lining has to be done at the original place it was sprayed. This may have changed though, it's been almost a year since I had my truck sprayed. Last summer I picked up a load of gravel, even hit the Line-X pretty hard with the shovel a couple times. I pressure washed the bed after and it still looks as good as the day it was sprayed.

Correct, neither LINE-X or Rhino are titanium. If they were you might as well add a couple of more digits to the price.

LINE-X can color match anything. At my shop, we buy Dupont Nason paint from Finishmasters (professional paint store). We give them the factory paint code if it's a factory color and they prepare the paint. If it's a custom color, we take them the truck or a sample of the color and they match it. BTW, Nason is an automotive paint that is durable and won't fade. It also better matches the typical metallic properties of the truck's paint than some other bedliner brands that just add pigment to a liner.

LINE-X has a nationwide lifetime warranty. Rhino's warranty is only with the dealer that sprayed it.
