Any thoughts on Reflex or Superliner

I've been looking into getting a spray-in on my 04 F150. The local shops only do Superliner and Reflex. I haven't seen much on either of these brands and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them?

I've seen both and they both look good, but what the hell do I know? The Reflex seems more rubbery and chunkier.

I really like the good things I've heard about Line-x, but I'd have to travel a bit. I'm only really transporting the occasional odds and ends and my motorcycle so I don't really need the industrial strength. I'm also concerned that the line-x may be too hard and sandpaper-like for my needs.

Thanks for any input...

Ive never had a spray-in, but have you thought of a Bedrug? I dont haul heavy duty stuff in my L, either, but odds and ends like you, as well as a Bike. Works great for me. More and more friends that have spray-in's keep complaining about chunks coming off or it scratching up stuff that they haul. I KNOW that MANY people love their spray-ins and have held up for awhile, but maybe I just run into folks who had a bad job done on their spray-ins. Anyway, you may want to take a look at a Bedrug.

Superliner is a "one-part" also called a "solvent based" 100% polyurethane liner. The polyurethane is suspended in a solvent. A catalyst is added, such as a liquid chemical or even just air, that removes the solvent and leaves just the polyurethane. Typically, one-part polys are not as durable as two-part polys. Superliner dealers have to spray an "adhesion promoter" (glue) on the bed first to make the liner stick to the bed. They spray it on using a cold/low pressure system or just a hopper gun.

Reflex is a two-part 100% polyurethane liner. Two-part means that isocyanate (a hardener) is mixed with a polyol resin which renders the polyurethane. The liner is sprayed using a cold/low pressure system.

LINE-X is a two-part polyurethane and polyurea mix. The added polyurea raises the temperature tolerance, raises the tear strength, makes it harder, makes it more chemical resistant to organic oils and solvents, keeps moisture out the resin which produces a more dense liner and also gives it better adhesion. LINE-X is sprayed using a heat/high pressure system. LINE-X offers a nationwide lifetime warranty on their bedliners.

Bedrugs is a good product. The only negative comments I have ever heard (and they are minor) are the following:
1. Only comes in gray.
2. Tends to sag a bit after a while.
3. Traps moisture between the rug and the bed.
4. You need to get used to looking at carpet in your bed.

Hope that helps!

I am set on the spray-in liner. The bedrug is just not my cup o' tea as far as looks or function. I am just trying to get as much info on the products that are available locally. They all seem to be about the same price @$400, so I guess it comes down to personal preference. Hard & Durable vs Softer & Grippier (is that a word?).

I guess I didn't mention that I'll be hauling around my dog at times. I don't think a wet/muddy dog would work well with a bedrug. Besides, I don't like vacuuming the house, much less a truck bed . Thanks though...
