So I'm interested in a bedrug for the 2002 Lightning. What I'm curious about, is if the piece that sticks/straps/or whatever (I'm not sure how the parts connect) is connected to all the other pieces. What I'm looking to so is a spin off of what I saw from a custom bedliner in a Truckin magazine. In the article, there was a mold of a foam like substance, and the bedliner was applied over the foam, and left a print of that. In the case of what I saw, it was two swords crossing over a shield right below the back window, across from the tailgate. I was curious as to if I could get the bedrug and just get a cutom piece that could maybe have "SVT" in it so instead of saying "bedrug" it could say SVT. Maybe even a bedrug tag below it just to represent. But does anybody know if that's possible?? Thanks in advance

Hey guys, not sure if you're talking about mine, but I had an SVT patch sewn over the Bedrug logo before installing it. I took it to an auto upholstery shop and gave a guy $5 to simply sew the patch over the Bedrug logo. The rug is pretty thick and didnt want to have my GF brake her hands trying to do it, and it just took this guy a few minutes.
One thing before ordering a Bedrug, especially since Ford recently bought Bedwise, is that Ive seen three different type "logos" on bedrugs for F-150's.
1) Big "BEDRUG" logo in the center of the stand up carpet piece that faces the cab.
2) A smaller "BEDRUG" logo in the upper right hand corner (like mine)
3) A Blue and white FORD oval.
If your ordering one, ask the dealer which logo bedrug he has in stock. You may be able to choose which one he sends you.
Best of luck, and for $235-$275, bedrug's, in my opinion, are the way to go. Its great for tailgating, at the beach, and hauling stuff. One of the best things Ive bought for my L.
I'm actually looking for something like the #1 option for BedRugs you mentioned. Where the "BedRug" is centered and I could get a carpet matching "SVT" whatever to go over that or to go there instead of BedRug... if that makes sense. And if it is a custom back piece, that doesnt concern me. I am just curious as to if it is possible.
