Rhino Linings use first generation plastics and tend to fade and peel. I'm not sure about Line-X, just make sure when you get it sprayed on that they're using the second generation polymer. You should expect to pay about $325 for a regular bed and they should match it to the color of your truck for that price.
First generation Plastics? like I said, both are top of the line and are only as good as the shop installing it. With proper installation and care both liners will outlast you and your truck.
I agree totally with rhino. Check the installers FIRST. Your lining will only be as good as the installation. I don't know if it's like this everywhere, but around here the Rhino liner looks like cottage cheese. It doesn't have a uniform appearance. It also doesn't seem to be as bright; "sparkly" as the Line-X.
I've had good success with my Line-X. I've hauled rock, mulch, some rusty wrought irons gates, a palletized 'fridge and a sofa so far. I don't have so much as a nick on the lining. I paid $378 for mine and it looks as good as the day I had it applied. Do your homework and you'll be just fine.
Have Line-X in both my '98 F-150 and my dad's '69 Bronco. I agree with sundog7, the Rhino stuff is not as nice looking, nor is it a uniformed look. If I remember right Rhino is applied cold and Line-X is applied hot, which accounts for the difference in thickness and texture. Love my Line-X!
