Anyone painted their spray-on themselves?

Just wondering if anyone has painted a spray-on bedliner themselves and if so, what kind of paint did you use?

My friend painted his on, got it at a local auto store. Thing is it looks nice but is definitely thinner and more slippery then my brother in laws rhino lining. I do not know what the cost difference was. Both were black.

Sorry, my original post wasn't very clear. I already have professional spray-on liner but it's really starting to look faded. I was wondering if anybody has every gone over there spray-on with a coat of paint (like Rustoleum or something) to make it look new again.

Thanks,
cbone

I don't think you could paint it. I heard you can clean (some of them) with white kerosene. You could contact the manufacturer or distributor to see how to renew the color.

I don't know what kind of spray in you have, but.....

A local LINE-X dealer has a product called "Endura Gloss" and is suppose to rejuvinate a faded liner.... check out the link.

Thanks.

That line-x link looks pretty promising and if the "better half" thinks it's too much then I'll give the kerosene a shot.
