I have a Daws Better Built tonneau and tool box. My tonneau is diamond plate. It is awesome!

wouldn't a diamond plate tonneau be a little heavy?

Sounds great. Probably looks fantastic. Low maintenance. Easy cleanup. Lots of pros.

Weight would be the only con I could think of.

2001 F-150 SPORT , I was wondering how the security is on the Extang full tilt toneau cover. I'm thinking about getting an undercover or the extang.

myc2004,

That’s a tough question, as far as someone cutting the cover to get into your bed, this cover is no better than any other soft vinyl bed cover. It wouldn’t’ be very hard for someone to unsnap it either. On the other hand, there is no way someone is going to pry the tilting cover assembly up without allot of work if you have your tailgate locked.

If security is your priority then a soft snapping bedcover is not a good option for you. That said, I still think this is the best soft bed cover I have ever owned. It is well worth the extra money for the easy access and removal. I just used it this weekend to pick up a sliding door at Home Depot. Took my brother and I about 15 seconds to take it off and 15 to put it back on when we were done.

Hope that helps,

Pete
