Well one thing for sure, Ford doesn't offer one! I tried searching for one simular awhile back & came up with nothing that resembles the Sport Trac cover------Factory or aftermarket. If someone did, then I'd have one. My wife has one on her Sport Trac with the lever lift.....we love it!

They both sound good. I wonder if anybody has one & can give us some feedback on them. Also, how durable long term the aluminum "skin" would be.

I have ordered the Advance for my SuperCrew. The folks over at the Sport Trac site really like theirs. I have a post up over there looking for opinions. Very positive feedback.
I'll have mine in two weeks when I attend the National Sport Trac meet. I'll install it shortly after that and let you know.

Thumbs up

The Advance Cover is an excellent product. I put one on my father's F-150 for his birthday about 2 years ago. I did the install, and there are a lot of parts, but the dirctions are good and easy to follow. And the cover has held up great. it still looks brand new. Removal is a piece of cake too. Only takes 5 minutes. I'd put one on my truck, but I am buying a toolbox instead. I hope this helps.

Jim

heh. I just posted asking about this very thing.

Jimmy, how water-resistant is it? And how secure?

Thanks,
Mike

I have a K-Cover and love it. Almost completely watertight, nice looking, lightweight, easy on/off, and it looks nice. It is a great product.

Coronach - by almost completely watertight I mean that after driving or sitting in a huge downpour the bed may have one corner near the cab that is slightly damp. No puddles or accumulation of water. Probably less than 1/4 cup of water if that.
