I just thought it would be very helpful, especially since I'm looking into LED tail lights. You don't have to.

Just thought I would add these...its what I have on my truck. I like the looks of the smoked lens and the output is great after I adjusted them about 6 times...The only problem was being careful because the heads came in a black housing that I believe is for the early 97's made in 96. After I got them out of that housing it was easy.

Pre July 96 Headlights

Is anyone aware of a manufacturer of aftermarket headlights (Euro, etc) for a pre July 96 F150? I checked the forum and I apologize if I missed a previous discussion. From what we've seen the housing does not does not allow for 97-03 headlights to fit. Any ideas?

The headlights in my post with the pic a couple up had the housing for those made in 96...I had to remove it to put my lights in....I can tell you that the lights without the housing should be able to be put in the stock housing though because once i took my aftermarket lights out of the housing they fit perfectly in my truck...

Awesome thread Raptor05121! After reading some of your material I think I've decided to go with the lightening style with the black housing and matching signals. Thanks for the info Raptor05121, as someone already mentioned, tail lights would be awesome as well. When you get time that is .

NickGlass, I'm with you on wanting more info about the fog lights. The halo/projectors look sweet, but would like some input from users before purchasing.

97Fordman150, truck looks awesome man!

I can't wait to get mine ordered and installed so I can post some pics of it. It'll be a while though.

I have heard nothing but bad things from people i know who have bought the halo type aftermarket fog lights they dont fit right at all into the factory holes.I think your best bet is to go with the aftermarket depo brand fog lights like i bought, they fit like factory but look really modern. You can see a picture of them on my profile pictures so you can see what they actually look like and they are really nice,I havnt put them in yet but i held one in and it fits perfect and my truck only came with the black plugs but the wiring harness is there so they are simple plug and play with no wiring or fitting to do at all.

I too wish I saw this earlier! I just got whacked in my 04' heritage and lost the front-driver's side. $6k damage. When I got out and looked, my left Xenarc x2010 was destroyed. I knew I would never get a replacement this many years later. What is sad is that the electronics and bulbs are fine (believe it or not), but the reflector and lens are smashed. I wish I could just get a replacement assembly and put my electronics in it. If someone knows of somewhere, that would be a lifesaver.

I ended up buying these:

Which, while look nice, don't perform as well as I expected. The beam patterns (high and low) aren't very good. I really miss my xenarcs!!!

Thanks man, I appreciate the info. I'll probably go with the depo style. They look really good.

Here is what they look like recently installed on my truck and you can also see the new svt style headlights in the picture too.I still need to add the signal lights after it stops raining. http://www.f150online.com/forums/mem...new-grille.jpg
