I'm going to attempt mine tomorrow, hoping the little bit of satin I have left will do the job.

Might look good if you had a light color like white or red. I think any dark color is gonna be too hard to distinguish. Ill try to get some better resolution pics tomorrow.

Also got my fogs installed today!! They look awesome ill put up some pics of those too.

I really wish the plastic cover was 100% clear so you could really see that good. It looks awesome with out the plastic cover over it! I may be doing something like this soon.

Well i'm attempting mine now, I got it free all but the one fricking bolt they siliconed. Somehow the passenger side one broke, the left one I swaer its F'n TAR.. I'm very irritated and ready to throw the damn thing on the floor and stomp on it and just buy another. I'm giving it one more try in the oven, this is the 5th time. If it doesn't work, i'm gluing it back and buying the all red aftermarket light shell later. I've cracked and chipped this lens enough.

Well I give up. Just broke the lens, its half cracked. Good thing about it being clear is you can barely tell with clear silicon. I'll just look for the all red OEM looking one and smoke that when I smoke my tails.

Sorry to leave a negative experience but thats what happened with me. I swear those bolt things are tared on, not siliconed.

Yep. It was like "Damn you AZFx4! WTH did you get me into AZFx4!"

Na, I was just ticked it wouldn't come apart. More ticked when I broke it in half . It happens. The underside of my light is all black also, not grey like like yours.

lol. Just put the finishing touches on mine and was thumbing down through here and say where you said not to use the black rtv. Oopse. Lol!! Oh well, also I should have used what you did and not tape. It peeled some of the chrome off but whatever.

Great write up none the less. Wish I had read the comments first.

Ryan.
