just remember when tightening the spindle nut back on to tighten it up spin the rotor then tighten it some more to seat the bearings then back it off 1/4 turn. if it is to tight the bearings will burn and u will ruin the rotor, bearings, and the spindle and it'll make a horrible noise! lol
What parts do we need to buy besides rotors and brake pads?
I might be doing rear rotors first because it emits a annoying sound when I turn and break. Also what do I need for the rear, besides rotors and brake pads.
Oh one more thing what kinda name grease is that I notice it's colored same as peanut butter lol, at first I thought that's what you were using.
Thanks!

Drum brakes rears were used in 1997-2000 IIRC, and drum brakes are another beast so we will save that for later explanation.

Checked that link on the first page for rotors and pads. I just had a question, is that price for a "pair" of rotors or is that just one rotor? The title says front "rotors" and the picture has 2 but there's no description. Also, whats the difference between the HPS Compound, the Super Duty Compound, the LTS Compound and the Ceramic Compound on the Hawk Brake Pads? Which one would I use for a 2002 FX4 SuperCrew? Thanks.

both bearings should just fall off

Brake pads?
Forgive my ignorance as this will be my first time replacing brake pads myself, but I don't see in your write-up how to actually replace the pads after the caliper is off. Is there any special tools I need to keep things from shooting apart? Is the brake pad replacement obvious or is this something that you can explain to me?
Thanks,

i just replaced pads and rotors today by myself, it took about 4 hours. for the calipers i just used a C-clamp to compress it, then the pads just slide in the little slots. Just make sure the caliper is all the way open when you put it back on the rotor. and before you turn the truck on pump the brakes until they get about normal.
