Welcome to the "Greatest Board On Earth!"

I never heard Arlington being called Aggtown. I always associate anything that contains "Agg" with Bryan/College Station.

What's the latest on the new Stadium?

ive always known it as aggtown..hmm weird, as far as i knew, its always been dtown(dallas) funkytown(ft.worth) and aggtown(arlington)

i really have no idea where it came from but thats what its known as, i could see aggietown maybe out at College Station, but who knows..

I have no idea whats going on with the stadium, they voted and then it just kind of fell on the backburner

I do remember that there was speculation that it wouldn't be until the 2009 season that it would open........but I'm not 100%

that makes sense, gives them 3 years to get it built and redo some of the surroundings and stuff like that, its gonna make I30 jam packed even more so, but hey who can complain about living in a city with a national theme park and two major sports teams

Welcome ClaAs. I live near Burleson but work just off 360 at the edge of Arlington/Grand Prairie. Hope you learn as much from the forum as I have.

Funky Town here

I first heard the Aggtown name from the local radio stations. They are in tune with the latest hip names and slang. To soup up your truck I think you should start with a nice sounding exhaust system. It wont add any speed but will make it sound good. As for speed the best bet is a chip or programmer. As for looks........some chrome step rails or wheels will work to start.

yeh i wanna get a good exhaust just dont know which i wanna get yet, right now i just installed a glass pack on it to give it a nice little rumble, ive found a special made kit for extended cab 02s that contains lightning side skirts and a rollpan, i would like to move my exhaust infront on my tire like the lightning has it, and im about to get 20" black violator rims which are real nice and flashy...so im on my way to make it look good, ive already put a new bumper on it but the guy that painted it did a real nasty job and the paint is chipping

anyone know any good painters? here in the area?

I am in high school so I have known it as aggtown for a long time. And to clear it up, College Station is often referred to as Aggieland and they even tried to change the name to Aggieland, TX a long time ago.

Here is my 2003 F-150, 4.6 V8 with a 5 Speed manual. There are a few other things I want add to her. Other than the crapy paint job on the hood that I got from Macco I love everything else about this truck. Oh, and I live in Garland
