Why not have BOTH spray-on and drop-in?

Just purchased an F150 SuperCrew 4x4 and had a Penda SR liner installed. Really wanted a Line-x spray-on for the rust protection but needed a drop-in for the dent and ding protection. It's extra $$$, I know, but when we spend this much money for a truck, it's relatively insignificant for the value received.

Any reason this wouldn't work or be a good idea?

The only reason I can think that this wouldn't work is because of tolerances. Depending on how tight the tolerances are on the drop-in liner, it may not fit after a spray-in liner is installed. Remember, the spray-in liner coats the inside of the bed from 1/8 to 1/4 inches thick, changing the inside dimensions. So the drop-in may not fit after that.

I think to protect the drop-in it should sprayed after it is put in over the spray-in.
