Question Know anything about TruckAddons?

Found a website the other day for a place called TruckAddOns.com. Looks like they have lots of items but I've never heard of them before. Has anybody had any experience with them?

truckaddons.com is a division of TrailBlazer's which is a performance and offroad shop. They have or can order anything you want. They only have two shop locations I know of one is close to me in Lexington,KY ( also there's their warehouse) and the other is in West Virgina.
Their site sometimes carries some decent prices and I am not for sure about their online service but their in store service and prices plain out suck. For example I wanted a billet 3rd light cover and they listed it for like $36 on their site but in store it was $50. So I figured they should match their own site... wrong... guy was jerk about it and said if you want it for that price you should order it from the site. WTF, what's it matter, looks like to me it would be better to match the price and save them and me time and paperwork. I only go there to check things out in person or if I really really need something that day.

I phoned in a order for a hitch cover that they listed on their website. The guy on the phone took my order, siad they had it and would ship in 2 -3 days. After two weeks I called back. Then said they could not get it and that they would creidt my credit card. Guess what they didn't. Had to call again 3 or 4 times before they took care of it. The bookkeeper that finally took care of it was very nice. Called me back etc. and confirmed. The rest of them treated me like they were doing me a favor by taking my order. A far as my opinon, they are all jerks. At "TheOneStopTruckStop.com" Sheri is very helpful and nice. I would suggest trying there even if you have to e-mail or call them. Their website is not as big. Remember "service is everything". I have been trying to forget about that expierence as I really wanted a RED Ford oval hitch plug and I wasted over a month with them and then I couldn't find one, what jerks.

DONT BUY from them I live in Lexington and have been told to get the _uck out of the store for complaining about price gouging just as you have mentioned, the only way to get a good deal at this store is to drop out of school lose two teeth and become unemployed and know the other idiots behind the counter

welfare wagon

Isn't it a shame that they have all those great parts available. But you have morons and jerkoffs working there that are rude and to pay their in sotre prices you would have to be blind, deaf, and dumb.
I was once offered a job there with pretty good pay and without a doubt turned it down for less money just cause I couldn't deal with idiots that know jack ****.

DON'T BUY FROM TRUCKADDONS!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM TRUCKADDONS!!! They have no customer service after you order. They charged my credit card for an item that was not available to be shipped. After I cancelled the order TWICE, they sent the item to me 2 months later. During the 2 months I was trying to get credit on my credit card. They will not respond to email inquiries or voicemails. You cannot talk to the people you need to talk about for a return or credit. Their voicemail says they are away from the phone.

I have asked them to have a shipping company come pick up the part they delievered that had been cancelled. They will not, saying I have to pay for return shipping, and a return fee. This item weighs over 100 pounds, so freight will be expensive.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!! NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE OR THE DEAL!!!!!

Pretty much what everyone else has said except it took me 3 months to get my money back on a wrong part delivered. It was only after threatening them with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center did they cough up my return. It took the FBI to finally get their attention. They don't come much lower in my opinion.

They irked me so much I included them in my profile signature to warn people about them.

I had a really bad customer service experience myself in the past for one simple order!

I wouldn't even receive a package from them if it was FREE!

TRUCKADDONS does not know how to do business and handle their orders!

I'm from Lexington, KY (store location, Truckaddons is their website) originally and would have to say they are the biggest a$$holes out there! It took me over two months to get an intake from them (online order). They will under no circumstances return calls or emails. I told them that I was going to have to drive from Georgia to Kentucky and get a little satisfaction. They literally told me to bring it on. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! I'm getting pissed just thinking about it!

Angry Horrible customer service

I ordered 3 sets of snapin ventshades and they sent me adhesive models. I sent 4 emails and left 2 voicemails before I got an email response. They said it was my fault even when I showed them step by step how I ordered the correct models from their website. They were rude and inflexible, telling me that I had to pay to return them because it was my fault. After 4 emails back and forth, they said "end of discussion. You can't monopolize my time." When I told them that I would order from other companies even if I had to pay more, they said I could try but wouldn't find lower prices. I would pay twice as much for a part before I would deal with these morons again. With customer service like this and the other complaints I see by your members, I'm surprised they are still in business. I only wish I had found your website before I ordered from them. Thank God they sent me the parts that fit my vehicles (even if they weren't exactly what I wanted) and thankfully there were no backorders.

Screwed by TruckAddons.com

Hey guys thanks for posting the link to the Internet fraud thing.
I too have been porked by TruckAddons.com.

I bought a FoldaCover from them that does not fit properly and leaks from everywhere.I was told it would only leak under high water pressure and from the sides only. This is not what Im getting.....leaking everywherea and they wont take it back because it was installed.
Well how do you know if it doesnt fit right and leaks everywhere if you dont install it. Just like everyone before has mentioned they will not return phone calls.
If you do get them on the phone they are rude and argumentative.....cant be their fault you must have installed it wrong.
TruckAddons/ Trailblazers and FoldaCover All SUCK.They all spew the same ****.
I will never buy anything from them again and I hope that more people hear about their reputation so they now before they buy.
Buyer Beware they are Bad News to online buying.
But on the upside I bought an Extang Full tilt that installed in 30 minute or less.
Doesnt leak and is great..... No I didnt buy it online. Local truck shop.

John

Thumbs down

Made the mistake myself. Browsing ye old E-Bay and WOW look at the prices on those tonneau covers. Ordered the tonneau cover and, three phone calls and three weeks later it finally shows up.

They told me 3-5 days on the 6th day I called and was told to relax and be patient.

On the 10th day I was told it had not been shipped yet, I ask when, reply: with 24 hours.

Day 15 I called again, a little hot under the collar by this time and was told they would not answer my questions until I apologized for bring rude. Well to make it short; a few choice four and five letters words and the conversation was over.

Day 20, cover arrives and I attempt to install it, but it won't fit. The clamps sent with the cover will not work on my truck. So, I call Truckaddons and inform the sales person of my problem. They start drilling me with questions. Did you read the instructions? (YES) Did you order the correct cover? (YES) Is it install in the correct direction (NO, I put the end labeled tailgate up by the cab. Of course its in the correct direction everything is labeled.

I state that the clamps will not fit my truck. (ANSWER) You must be installing it wrong.

Too make this long story short, I never did get anthing out of them. I called the manufacturer of the conver (EXTANG) and explained the situation and they were than happy to send the correct clamps.

I was told that they get alot of complaints about the customer service at Truckaddons.
