Question 2006 f150 Grill Help Pleaaaase

I've searched through alot of the discussion boards and im just really confused on what I should do, so i figure ill ask y'alls opinions. Im trying to get rid of the chrome on my truck so I can have black and silver all around, and im thinking some a black honeycomb style grill, some black telescoping mirrors, and new black door handles. Im already positive about buying new mirrors, but my question is, is it worth getting my grill and handles painted black professionally? From what I have seen, and read, they will chip and look like crap. Is there a way around this? If i get them professionally painted will it be worth it in the long run??

Thanks in advance,
Mike
