Krylon Fusion will crack away from shiny applications if it sees constant moving or foot traffic. My side steps are beginning to crack around the foot step pad on top of the step and will be resprayed next summer.

I might try Duplicolor on top of the Krylon like BLACKOUT mentioned. Everything else I sprayed with it is holding up fine with a layer of clear coat on top of it.
