Relocating Front Licence Plate

Guys-

Looking for ideas to relocate my front plate in order to achieve a cleaner look. Front plate is required in this state I believe so I do not want to get rid of it. Is there a possible window mount for the front windshield?

Thanks as always for your valued opinions!

I have just realized that an inside the cabin window mount is probably illegal... but any other ideas are welcome!

Get yourself a skid plate and then you can attach the plate there. The one I got off of FX4life was prepped for a plate. Not sure if he drilled them out or if they come that way. Here's a pick but I don't have a plate installed and you can't see the holes but you could definitely see the plate no problem if it was there.

On the skit plate johhny has I did drill those holes for the plate, it is highly visible IMO. but the TX DPS still got me for it, never had a problem from a patrol car, but the one that nabs me is in a tahoe...

I have mine in the windsheild right now. I did have it centered on the dash (above that center tray). Put some rubber feet on the top and gave the plate a slight bend on the top so it would stay put jammed between the dash and windsheild, Never had a problem there. You can see it in some of my pics. If need be i can take pics of the plate and what i did. I also have modified the front plate holder so that it flips over and does not block the lower grille area if your interested in that I have pics of how to do that too. I prefer no plate or holder up front though..

Now I just run w/out it 90% of the time, and if it is up its in the drivers corner of the windsheild jammed between the dash and windshield. I usually jimmy it aroundd so that the numbers/letters are mostly visible. I need to find some small suction cups and leave it up, but haven't looked yet. The damn ticket for no plate/ improper placement/ low visibility is 150 bucks, I know from the first time. That could partly be high because I argued with him and the DMV that it was very visible...
