Roll Bar/Headache rack

well i kinda strayed away from my original plan of a roll bar and went more with the look of a headache rack like this one http://www.toughcountry.com/products...eadache_01.jpg but with out the stuff on the inside

i bought all the steel for $35 which i thought was a good price for 15ft.

then i had to go through several pieces of paper to find the right angles and lengths so it would all line up properly.

here are some pics of what i have so far. im still working on it and hope to have it on by this weekend.

plan:

cutting the angles

cleaning it for welding

not so perfect weld

another one

about half way done and where i took my break.

not to bad for my first time welding lol

No offense man and good work on home building, but with those welds, you would definitely have a headache if you rolled over.

Is it just me or does the right side vertical have more of an angle pitch than the left side? Might want to check for square again. Could just be the photo though. Other than that, I like the homemade attempt. Make sure to get some pics when your done, I've thought about making one for mine as well.
