Does that affect the amount of light put out since there is no reflection? I have thought about doing that myself but was worried that I wouldn't be able to see well at night.

That's going to look great. I think you should have used a bigger piece of cardboard during the paint process. haha.

The light output won't change because he didn't paint the reflectors. The part that remains "chrome" is what focuses the light outward. The rest is just decorative.

it will not hurt light output. my harley lights are paited the exact same way but black and have the same light output as my chrome ones.

it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. its just trial and error. the only thing that sucks is waiting for the silicon to dry. it takes forever! i installed them just a little bit ago and they look great. exactly how i wanted them. i will take some piccs tomorrow and post them.

If I had a NBS, I'd paint mine white ASAP. I'm tired at looking at chrome and black...

Good job! Way to be creative

I've seen several already that have been ptm the truck color. It is nice, though, to see a change. It's gonna look great jsvo! Now that I think about it one of the ones I've seen ptm was red and it looked really sharp.

Bright Red and Chrome looks awesome I think.

The red headlights will look good. I about bought a bright red supercab/shortbox with chrome 20's on it, It looks so clean and stands out.
