I want to tint my windows but I dont know how dark to go. I think 15% tint would match the rear factory tint pretty good. But I dont know if I want it darker than that. What is everyone putting in their trucks? Does 15% match the rear factory tint pretty good? I dont know if want to go down to 8% or just be happy with 15%. What do yall think?

 

I believe my tint is 15% on the rear and 20% on the sides.

I had 15% on my front and 5% on my back. It worked out pretty well. Course I wanted 5% all the way around but the police don't approve of that

 

I like it dark. The darker the better. I put 5% all the way around on mine. It looks awesome. I wish I could make it darker. I am wondering if the tint I have is a true 5%. I almost did two layers of 5%. But was talked out of it, now I wish I had gone for it. Oh yeah, legal here is 35% on the sides, and for a pick-up anything goes on the back, you could use black spray paint if you wanted.

Do you have a pic of your truck? I would like to see what it looks like with the tint and I would also like to see the clear corners and your rims and tires. Do the cops mess with you for the tint? I am in florida and I think 35% is whats legal here also. On my camaro I had probably about 8% and never got messed with but I really dont want to spend a bunch of money and start to get tickets. Oh well. If you have a pic, I would like to see. Thanks!

 

I have 35% on the sides and 20% in the rear. If you wanna go lower, then you'd have to do it yourself since most places won't go lower that (at least here in Pittsburgh). Here, police will pull you over if the tint is too dark (they have nothing better to do) and plus we don't get that much sun here as it is

Is it hard to see out the front with the tint? It seems like it could get kinda dark at night. Out of curiosity how much were those rims? Do you have a pic of the rear of the truck cause I wouldnt mind seeing the euro tail lights. Thanks!

 

I am use to it now I don't find that hard to see at all.I sure don't need sunglass anymore
