2014 F-150 Supercab STX amp please help

I have a 2014 F-150 STX and I'm wanting to install new kicker door speakers but idk if its going to make much difference. I was to install my Kenwood amp to the stock head unit without the Sony speakers and with the regular head unit NOT the touchscreen unit, please help because I don't know where to hook any of my wires up with the truck being as new as it is. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

You need a Line Out Converter (LOC) such as the LC7i or something similar. That'll take the speaker level outputs from your headunit and give you rca outputs to run to an amp. Metra also makes a wiring harness for one of their line out converters you can use with your factory wiring harness so you don't need to cut it up.

Then you just need to run speaker wire from the amp to the doors where the new speakers are.
