Jl Stealthbox now what AMP?

Jl Stealthbox now what AMP would be best it says 300? I see alot of people run the 250/1, but I dont want to underpower it.

ALSO I dont want to go cheap, but it does NOT have to be a JL Audio amp

alpine amps are incredibly sensitive to voltage adjustments, ie if you don't have the magical 14.6 volts (which you won't) the wattage output drops off substantially.

Also, I really wouldn't suggest Alpine for subwoofers because they aren't cost effective in that department.

I have a Stealthbox with a JL 500.1 myself

The JL 250/1 would still be enough for the Stealthbox.

The JL subs are very efficient. Go with the 250/1 for a nice match setup.

You are NOT going to tell a difference in output between a 250 watt amp compared to a 300 watt amp...

Get the little alpine pdx mono block. They are little so you won't have any trouble finding a place to put it.
