Just in case someone else runs into this, heres the story. The day before I was to pickup the new rig I stopped in to see it at which time the dealer tells me the bedliner will not fit without extensive modification and additional cost to me with the factory "permanently installed" tonneau cover. I told them just stuff the thing in there so I can get it home and I make it work. Well what the dealer called a permanent install on the cover I call four easily removable hex bolts, as for the extensive modification - huh it just plopped right in, in fact the tonneau front bar is made to accept the bedliner lip.

Bad Dealer.

I just got my truck with the factory tonneau and I am probably going with the Ford bediner too. Is the overall fit pretty nice and did you have to do any drilling for the tailgate piece? How is it fastened?

Just remove the 4 clamps holding on the tonneau rails, install the liner and re-install the rails. As for the tailgate piece you remove existing screws, set the liner over the holes and with the longer screw's that are supplied "bolt her on"

For those who are considering one, Ford's drop in bed liner is by far the most perfect liner (for F150's) around. NO rubbing, rattling, paint gouging etc. Requires no drilling and fits like a glove.
A little pricier I think but the best you can get.

 

I have the Ford DuraLiner bedline, and the third one that was installed on my truck (finally) fits very well. The dealer had to toss the first two of them due to mfg defects.

If you get one, make sure it is actually rectangular.

$10,000 worth of mods on my list, and an unenthused wife who is still not convinced that we really NEED them.

 

I had the Ford Duraliner installed at the dealer and it fit very well. I had to take it out when I installed a SnugLid tonneau on my truck because the ribs in the front face of the liner wouldn't permit the mounting rail to fit right. I went with a BedRug afterwards and have been really pleased with the fit and performance of the product.

Just my .02 worth.....
