I have 133K on my 97 F 150 X cab 4X4, 4.6 W. Still looks and pulls like new. Rides like the day I got it. My buddy's 97 Chubby rattles and rides like a tank. He had to replace the leaf springs to pass inspection at 80K mikes among other problems he's griped about. I went off roading with him once during hunting season...once. I banged my head off the top of the cab at LEAST 8 times. Say what you want about how Ford builds their trucks, I have had expereince with both Chubby's (my family owned Chubby's untill we saw the light. Now we own my F150, pops Ranger and Mom's Explorer.) and Dodge at work. Let's just say the Chubby's and especially the Dodge does not have the same quality as Ford does IMHO.
