Recommended Trans Shop Ft. Worth , TX?
I've got to get some installation work done, but don't know for sure what is a reputable shop on the west side of the metroplex. Anyone have any suggestions?
Try Buck's Transmissions. They're east of I-35W, north of I-20, and south of I-30 inside the loop. If I remember, they are on Wichita St. over near Nichols Ford. I know plenty of people that have nothing but good things to say about them. Hope this helps.

I attempted to install a Factory Tech valve body and accumulators for my 4R70W trans. Valve body and 1-2 & 2-3 accumulators went fine. Apparently when I did the od accumulator, I didn't get some pin pushed against a band. The end result was that I had no overdrive and no second gear braking.

Glad you got it figured out, how do you like it?
Also, thanks for getting me a good description of what went wrong, I'll modify the instructions to make it more clear about getting the pin from the servo into the band.

So far it's great. A significant improvement (IMHO) over the transgo shift kit. With light throttle, the shifts are smooth and quick without banging... get into it and bark the tires from 1-2 easily, even on concrete! Haven't wound it out yet to feel the other gears shift.
