5.4 Triton Throttle Body Cover

Does anyone have one for sale?

I've been to several of the local junkyards and none will sell just the TB cover...

Help...

Richard,

A big thanks... I appreciate the link.

I guess I'm looking for a stock cover though... I was hoping I could snag someone here that has put a FIPK on and had taken the TB cover off and might want to make a couple of bucks.

Hi Zaino dude!

I have an extra one, but it says "Triton 4.6" Had to replace mine because a gust of wind blew it off a chair and got scratched while I was installing my FIPK. I think the stock replacment only goes for $15.

g luck

RockPick,

Not sure which motor you have (you only need to 4.6 if you use Zaino), but if I recall correctly, the '97-'98 5.4 piece is a lot nicer than the newer one. A friend's '97 with the 5.4 had a nice colored nameplate on it announcing that in was bigger (and better) than my '97 4.6. My '99 with the 5.4 just had a plain black plastic piece. So much for keeping up with the Jones's. Hope that helps!

I've got the 5.4...

I've seen the name plates that you've mentioned in your post and agree, they look much better but, the thing about it is that I'm wanting to do some more custom paint on mine thus, the colored logo won't really do me much good.

Thanks for the reply though... Only need a 4.6 if I use Zaino? LMAO! Not you too!

RockPick,

Alas, I too have been seduced by the Zaino dark side. The stuff just goes on and off so easy and shines ever so nice. Then again, the (Oxford White) paint on my 2002 is soooo nice than KY Jelly would probably make it shine!

Matt may not still have the cover, the thread is 13 years old, but you might get lucky.
