i've got like both ends of the spectrum. a stripped 85 F-150 XL with the only upgrade being the explorer package (heavy duty suspension) and then a 00 HD F-150 limited edition "sport" truck.
love em both and woudn't have them any other way. my work truck is very basic, cloth bench, vinyl floors, no ac, no power windows/locks/seats, regular cab and 8 foot bed.
my 00HD is a completely maxed out top of the line truck for 00. couldn't get any other F-150 above it, got all the goodies
but both trucks are for different purposes. my 85 is my work truck and does an awsome job at it, and my 00 is my show truck and weekend cruiser and i love that too. don't really like cars that much, so the HD is kind of like my car and the 85 still a true work truck
