Center front top of engine on the thermostat housing.

When they start to go bad, they cause the engine to run rich.

I just got one from the dealer a few months back, I can't remember the price but it wasn't to expensive..under $20.

Bring in the old one or get the part # off of it becuase my dealer couldn't find the # in the computer.

is there a easy way to tell if it's running rich, except for poor fuel economy? pardon my ignorance, I'm not what you would call mechanically inclined...but I'm learning slowly

Sometimes you can tell by what the spark plugs look like, otherwise you would need to check the voltage output of the o2 sensor.

If you check in a repair manual they should give a spec for the resistance through the sensor. It you find that it is open or shorted then you definitely need to replace it.
