I have a 1999 F150 SuperCab XLT with the 4.6 and an auto tranny. I got this truck in late 1999. It has 382,000 (yes 382k) on it... When I was driving it, I took it from San Antonio, TX to Corpus Christi, TX twice a day (500 miles a day) five days a week for a little over 3 years (39 months). Now I have passed it on to my daughter and it only gets about 1300 miles a month on her now. I decided to retire the truck jsut over the 360K mark.. The transmission was replaced at 260K miles, the tires have been replaced 5 times. The spark plugs were done at 90k, 180k, 210k, and 300k miles. It is STILL running on the original battery though
!! this is a darn good truck and I can see getting it to 500k miles with no problem.
When I passed it on to her, I bought me a 2001 Super crew (GEN III) and it has 132K miles on it already and I`ve only had it for 3 years.
