At the present time I'm at 139,000 miles. Only
problem so far was the rear wheel bearings at 90,000. I make about 16 round trips (300 miles one way) to northern Minn. every year. Most of them pulling a trailer full of bear bait plus the box usually has about 1000lbs of bait too. And than usually a load of firewood on the way home. So there's probably a reason for the bearings to go.
I've gotten as high as 17 mpg with a load of firewood on, as long I stay under 70 mph. The only
I've done is a shift kit and synthetic fluids everywhere. Going to make it to 200,000 no problem. My 1990 F150 has 208,000 and is still running great.
