Just turned 100K in my 98 4.6L. I had a trans failure that was covered under extended warranty (74K). Other than that the truck is perfect. I expect to get 200K out of the truck. It uses no oil.
I live on a long, rough dirt road and the LF suspension has a very slight clunk. I suspect a ball joint. 100K of my type of driving is fantastic. I wasted an explorer in 45K. The road is so rough, the dashboard of my Mazda Miata broke off!
The F150 is one very high quality truck.
Still no rattles! Well, maybe one squeek, From my custom exhaust which I installed.
