Whats the max tire size on an F250 w/out a lift?

My buddy has an 02 F250 w/ the V10 and the off road package (not FX4 ) and he asked me if i could find out the biggest (tall & wide i guess) that he could fit. I tried searching the forums, but it kept timing out on me. I'm probably gonna send him over this way for any other questions he's got...

But until then, anyone know where to get white face and/or silver face gauges for the 02's? all we've been able to find is gauges for the older model SD's. Or any kind of brush aluminum dash accents? Not stupid gaudy ricey ****, but some tasteful stuff? He just got a new cd player w/ a brushed aluminum looking face, and it looks totally out of place w/ everything else being black.

I know from other members that he can fit 305s on it with no problems. I have seen others talking about minor trimming with 315s. I am sure that someone else will chime in with more info soon.

Can't help you with the guage faces - sorry.

Ok, so 305's are basically 12" wide tires... what about height?

you can get 1.5" shackles for $50 which will level the front and run 35in tires with no rubbing. if not 32-33in is the max without rubbing.

dimensions

Ok, just got some dimensions on 315x75x16 tires on my truck.
Height 34.6 In
width 12.40 in
Sidewalls 9.3 in

So actually it is a 35x12.50 tire, that metric stuff in confusing, lol
If that guy has 38's on his truck he must not turn or he will rub, unless he has a lift of somekind. I am adding 1.75" blocks under the front to level it out. I have had many people ask me what size lift is on my truck, it has no lift just factory plow pkg and camper pkg. It sits 3' higher than my buddies 99' 350 lariat.

Just a heads up here, no attacks intended, In some states front blocks are illegal...Arced springs are a better choice if one can afford it...

Well I have a 2" leveling kit on mine and fit 315/75/16 without a problem. They do rub on the front leafs at full turn and I cut the plastic inner fender some to make sure it wouldnt rub....peace

so did he remove the bumpers? There is no way that is possible! 315's are the max! after that you have to lift them! You need at least an 8" lift to do that.
