I'd like to add to my previous post. First, I think that the Baumann Engineering shift kit is an excellent product. The instruction manual is well written, and the components are of high quality. Second, I think that Baumann errs on the side of caution in the instruction manual. As they say, it's easier to go from level 3 to level 4, than the other way around. Finally, the shift kit also has the added benefit of increasing the longevity of the 4R70W, and so whatever the outcome, that alone is worth the $100.
